Apparently Disney Wants To Make A New Star Wars Film Every Year

To some Star Wars fans, that sounds amazing - and to others (purists), we're afraid! But whichever side you're on, Disney is working toward this in the future - at least through 2019. According to NME, "Direct sequels to The Force Awakens are slated for release in 2017 and 2019, with the second in Disney's "Anthology Series", a currently untitled film focusing on Han Solo, scheduled for release in between in 2018." So, don't put away your storm trooper costume after The Force Awakens comes out... You're gonna need it.
