According to WWD, it's actually a sale killer to put the Kardashian's and Jenner's on the front of a magazine!
The women were featured on multiple magazines in 2015, including Cosmopolitan, Allure, Glamour, GQ, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, Women’s Health, Complex, Interview, Paper and Redbook, and after WWD was able to analyze the data, there was "a decline in copies sold when they featured the family members."
Out of all the magazines, the Cosmopolitan issue that called the clan the "America's First Family" caused more uproar than sales, but hey, negative attention is still attention, right?

Nylon digs further, and shares that Glamour fell short when they lost 15% of their usual revenue with Kim on the cover, and when Kendall graced GQ, it wasn't as bad, but still fell short.
Though the girls all reign on social media (Kendall still holds the title for "most popular" Instagram post), this might be the beginning of the end.
Well... If the Empire does fall, we still have Donald Trump.
Donald Trump reminds me of the Kim Kardashian of politics. They’re both famous for being famous — and the media plays along.
