Sorry Jay Z fans…the ads that were poppin’ up all over NYC were NOT for a Jay Z album after all. They’re for a new movie coming to Tidal starring Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o and Danny Glover. The ad debuted during the NBA finals last night and shows Ali as a boxer, Glover as his coach and Nyong’o is not shown, but mentioned in the credits. No release date yet…see the trailer below:
