Here are some ways that you can assist victims of the latest storms to hit the United States,

American Red Cross:

The American Red Cross is encouraging people to donate money on its website or to text 90999 to donate  $10. The organization is also asking for volunteers.


The company is looking for hosts with housing available in the Florida Panhandle, northern Georgia, and northwest and southeast South Carolina.

Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services is the disaster relief arm of the Protestant charitable organization, and it is taking donations to help victims of Harvey.

United Way of Greater Houston

United Way of Greater Houston has set up a relief fund that people can donate to. The organization said its first priority is shelter and basic needs like food. The organization said it will also focus on long-term recovery efforts.
