These Two Chicago Superstars Are Teaming Up
Chance The Rapper is doing big things.
According to Complex, a new basketball documentary produced by Chance The Rapper and NBA player Dwyane Wade, is coming to life on February 24, 2018.
The documentary is titles, Shot In The Dark and tells the story of Chicago native, Tyquone Greer, and his journey at Orr Adademy High School.
Directed by Dustin Nakao Haider, the film is about how Greer was shot at a party just one week before a very important basketball game, he showed up on crutches but was still able to send his team to the final four of the tournament.
In the press release Wade said, “Basketball empowered me to overcome the challenges of growing up on the south side of Chicago….the odds were stacked against me, and the game changed the course of my life.”
