The iconic movie about how to survive in South Central Los Angeles was released 27 years ago today. Boyz N The Hood hit theaters on July 12th, 1991. The film was directed by John Singleton and starred Cuba Gooding Jr., Ice Cube, Nia Long, Laurence Fishburne, Angela Bassett, Regina King and Morris Chestnut.
