Ella Mai Reaches Beyoncé-Level Success Ella Mai’s Boo’d Up has put her in rare company.

Ella Mai Reaches Beyoncé-Level Success Ella Mai's Boo'd Up has put her in rare company.

The song is number one on three Billboard charts - Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Adult R&B Songs. Ella Mai is the first woman to do this since Beyoncé made it happen with Love On Top back in 2012.

Mai is also the first British singer to top the U.S. R&B chart since 1992.
