This year's Red Sox team is one for the ages and just what the city of Boston expects out of their beloved Red Sox. Under first-year manager, Alex Cora, the Sox are the clear favorite to win the 2018 World Series Championship and look to accomplish nothing less.
Currently sitting at 105-51 atop the stacked American League, the Astros, Yankees, & Athletics all look to be able to give Boston a run for their money but only time will tell.
The only teams to have clinched a playoff berth so far are obviously the Red Sox, Yankees, Astros, Braves & Indians.
Coming off back-to-back walk-off losses in Cleveland, the Red Sox just need to hurry up and get to the postseason and hope that David Price's playoff woes somehow cease to exist this time, plus, he knows he's under the microscope.
On a different note, A-Rod (insert eye-roll) was quoted saying this about Mookie Betts.
No disrespect, but we already knew this.
Tonight, the Red Sox will look to make history with the most regular season wins in franchise history against the struggling Baltimore Orioles with Nathan Eovaldi on the mound.
It's not a guaranteed win, but it looks promising.
