50 Cent Had to Convince Starz Not to Air ‘Power’ on Saturday

In a recent interview, 50 Cent shared that he had to fight with the STARZ network not to air “Power” on Saturday nights. He had a good reason. Friday and Saturday nights are bad TV nights as people tend to be out. Sunday is the day people tend to “re-boot” so they are home.

When asked if it was a hard sell he said no because the current CEO of STARZ use to be the CEO of HBO, Chris Albrecht, and he built the model for Sunday night programming on HBO.

There are definitely people out there that would cancel their Saturday plans for ‘Power’!
