Over the weekend, The Weeknd said on Twitter, "no more daytime music."
In simple terms, The Weeknd believed that the Starboy persona just doesn't fit the space he's in right now and he's going back to what made him a household name. Before the tweet, Weeknd had said he wouldn't be speaking directly about his next project and has only sent out images to set the stage for his next project.
