Chris Rock will direct and executive produce an NBC comedy pilot called Saving Keenan.
The show stars SNL star Keenan Thompson. He plays a newly widowed dad trying to raise his kids while letting his persistent father-in-law become more involved in his kids lives. No word on when the comedy is set to air.
Chris is no stranger to directing. He directed an episode of Everybody Hates a Chris, a show he also co-created. He directed Amy Schumer: Live At The Apollo and executive produced The Rundown with Robin Thede and Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.
