Jussie Smollett Arrested; Turns Himself in to Face Charges of Filing False Police Report
Jussie Smollett has turned himself in to Chicago police and has been placed under arrest. Anthony Guglielmi, chief communications officer, added that “Supt Eddie Johnson, Commander of Area Central Detectives Edward Wodnicki will brief reporters on the investigation prior to the defendants appearance in court” at 9 a.m. at police headquarters.
Smollett had been charged with disorderly conduct for filing a false police report about the alleged hate crime that he claimed took place back in January.
