(okay not the same thing but something similar) He put up an IG post congratulating his daughter who’d just been accepted to USC and he was poking fun at the USC admissions scandal at the same time with the caption: "My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own. No jail time!!!" As you can expect, the internet was quick to point out that back in 2013 he and record exec Jimmy Iovine donated 70 million to USC to develop the Andre Young Academy. The post lasted only a few hours before Dre took it down. One of the tweets aimed at him was: “Dre is technically right…his bribe was legal.”
