Dave East Holds Candlelight Vigil For Nipsey Hussle In New York City
Last night (Apr. 1), Harlem rapper Dave East held a candlelight vigil for Nipsey Hussle in New York City.

Yesterday, East shared a flyer for the event that started at 8 p.m. on his Instagram page. “If You In The NYC Area Come Show Cuzo Some Love This Was Really My Friend Fucc Rap!!!!! LOVE U CRIP,” he wrote as a caption for the flyer.
An enlarged photograph of the late rapper with blue balloons around it was displayed at the vigil.
East also shared several photos and videos of himself with Hussle on Instagram, who he refers to as “really” his friend. In one of the captions, East wrote, “I love you cuz.”

Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot six times in South Los Angeles outside of his apparel store, Marathon Clothing on Sunday (Mar. 31). The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that Hussle, 33, died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

Late last night (Apr. 1), LAPD tweeted that Eric Holder is wanted for homicide in the shooting of Nipsey Hussle.
