The studies were done on mice, who are nocturnal, and the studies found that when the mouse hours were translated to human hours it found the night time is the right time for exercise.
The interesting thing about the study is that it was also found that exercise has more of an impact on metabolism in the late morning than in the evening.
One thing is for sure, exercise at any time of the day is always a good thing.
