Janelle Monae fans and black feminist literature book worms are in for a treat.

A Twitter user by the screen name of @Newmoonemoji created a Twitter thread of Janelle Monae as classic black feminist literature.

She paired photos of the "Pynk" singer with classic literature by writers like Toni Morrison, Ntozake Shange, Gwendolyn Brooks, Audre Lorde, Maya Angelou, Zora Neale Hurston, Octavia Butler, Alice Walker, and Lorraine Hansberry.

Monae noticed the thread and thought it was "genius." She retweeted it and shared it to her timeline.

Check it out below.

The reactions to the thread on the social media platform were heartfelt.
