Congratulations to Celtics legend Bill Russell. It was just announced he will be receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award during ESPN’s Espys on July 10th. “Arthur was a man of great courage. Tune in July 10, this is a special honor,” Russell said in a tweet.
The Arthur Ashe award is given annually to those whose contributions “transcend sports.”
