On a post that was just as much about shading other rappers as it was about the Migos’ six-year anniversary, Offset said that the Migos helped the rap game evolve.
“Six years later and we changed the game. All your favorite artists sound like Migos. Let’s go back and see your cadence in 2013,” Offset wrote.
“I challenge any artist to play they music from 2013 and play they music now. Your sound is now Migos sound in 2013. I say this very humble, but it’s true so stop saying u made words up and all that. We made your sound crazy.”
The “Clout” rapper also told fellow rappers to “do your research,” adding that Migos made it possible for a lot of artists to have “life” in the rap game. “Thank us on our anniversary,” he concluded.
Migos’ debut album, Young Rich Ni**as debuted in 2013 featuring their singles “Versace,” “Hannah Montana,” “Look at My Dab,” and “Handsome and Wealthy.”
