Don't put down that chicken wing and beer can just yet.

Rocking a "dad bod" might not be so bad after all, says a new survey.

Planet Fitness found that men were happier and more attractive to women when carrying a few extra pounds.

"Having that body type has improved their life in some way," the fitness company revealed, noting, "Nearly four in five among both women and men believe a 'dad bod' is a sign of a man who is confident in his own skin."

"More men with a dad bod - this year in comparison to last - say they are happier with their body - 79 percent vs. 64 percent," the results showed.
