Detroit rapper Kash Doll felt so compelled to speak on the issue that she took to Instagram to share a video about it. She started off by saying that she knows that “fun is fun” and people like to have fun on social media, referencing twerking and cursing.

“But it comes to a point right. And I think we’ve reached a limit with these cucumbers. Seriously. First off, it’s unsanitary,” Kash Doll said.

“Second off, you’re going in the f*cking grocery store sucking and spitting on cucumbers and I don’t see none of you b*tches eating vegetables on the regular…For real y’all We gotta keep it real cute. We’re queens.”

“All jokes aside. Keep it cute, ladies. Keep it classy. We got a lot of little young queens looking at us,” Kash Doll concluded.

Reality TV star Masika Kalysha also had a thing or two to say about it. She took to Twitter on Monday to address the issue.

“Ladies please stop with this cucumber sh*t. Could you imagine your mother watching you doing that? There’s a classy way to do things ladies. Please stop choking on vegetables for ni**as wit thumbs between their legs and cobwebs in their heads.

R&B crooner Sammie added his opinion to the conversation too. “Ladies: respect yourselves. All y’all following this “slurp on a cucumber trend” are making it that much more difficult for the queens aka good girls out here who desire respect from a man,” Sammie wrote in a note that he shared on Instagram.

“This goes back to my post when I said, social media killed the fantasy. We shouldn’t see everything. I’m a 32 year old man, sex, oral sex, sexy pics, etc. (I’m with all that.) But it should be displayed in exclusivity and between parties in which you can trust with such content,” he wrote in his caption.
