The “illest, vicious pitbull in a skirt” is back!

Eve recently dropped her new Caribbean-inspired single, “Reload” featuring Konshens.

The Philadelphia rapper, actress, and talk show host have spent the past few years broadening her television portfolio, but now she’s back to music.

The song is a tease from the rapper’s forthcoming album, that she says is influenced by the mixture of sounds (Reggae, Afrobeats, and more) that she’s embraced while living overseas in London.

“See I done f**ked up on things/you were the good kind of sin/cause I thought that you were my kin/I remember you would f**ck up my conscious/listening to Conscious/rolling in late with that chick on your garments/bet you think I would be there in the morning” the “Love Is Blind” rapper raps on the track.

In this rare, long-form interview, the rap icon and "Talk" co-host opens up about her music beginnings, the lack of sisterhood in hip hop, and even drops some unexpected names on her upcoming new album (yes, there is a new album in the works!).
