1.  The Head of The Charles Regatta
Since 1965, The Head of The Charles Regatta has brought hundreds of thousands of people together to watch rowers compete verse one another in the Charles River. This is the 55th year and the traditions are going to continue. The Head of The Charles offers family-friendly activities, vendors and numerous food choices throughout its 3 mile course. This is the perfect Fall weekend event to bring family and friends together. You can check out spectator information here.

2. Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo 2019
For the 10th year, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo is back! This free show features over 200 comic creators and special guests from all over New England. This comics expo is full of cartooning workshops, panels and presentations. There are activities for comic book readers and artists of all ages.

3. The 24th Annual Boston Veg Food Fest
The 24th Annual Boston Veg Food Fest brings together vegetarian natural food providers, national speakers and chefs. This festival is full of educational exhibits that gives the chance to learn about the newest veg items, taste free food samples, and learn what vegetarian food options are available. 4. Kid Convention 2019
The 2019 Kid Convention offers a fun day full of civics-focused programs and activities for kids of all ages. Sessions include a presidential pet primary, kids voting polling stations, a campaign trail scavenger hunt and campaign button-making! The Kid Convention also includes a live program about “What Makes A Good Leader?” You can sign up for one of two sessions here.

5. Newton Harvest Fair

6. Boston Book Festival 2019
The Boston Book Festival features over 300+ presenters in fiction, poetry, memoir, science, technology, history, children’s literature and more! 7. Zoo and Brew

8. Faneuil Hall A Cappella Competition
The 23rd Annual A Cappella Competition features over 40 of the best A Cappella groups from all over New England. Come watch these groups entertain the audience as they duel it out in Faneuil Hall! The A Cappella groups represent colleges and independent singing groups which will sing for a panel of judges as they compete for a chance at winning the title and cash prize!

9. Sweater Weather Fest 2019
Aeronaut is throwing a Sweater Weather Fest! This FREE admission festival  includes, yard games, live music from local bands, fall treats from Carolicious, sweaters for sale from Avante Garde Vintage and knit beards by Sharon! If one of your favorite fall activities if heading outside in a cozy sweater and drinking beers with friends, then this event is for you!

10. Three Piece Suit Football Charity Event
The 7th Annual Three Piece Suit Football Charity Event is happening this weekend! This charity event features men and women playing tackle football in three-piece suits! The game benefits local Veterans through Operation Delta Dog (OpDD). The live halftime show will be performed by a local band. Admission to this event if FREE for all ages.
