Kanye West Slated To Drop Another New Album ‘Jesus Is Born’ On Christmas
Kanye West has another new forthcoming album slated to drop following the release of Jesus Is King. The rapper-producer recently revealed that he’ll be releasing Jesus Is Born on Christmas Day (Dec. 25). West made the announcement during a recent interview.
“Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel to let people know what Jesus has done for me. I’ve spreaded a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion has done for me. I was letting you know what the Hennessy had done for me,” West said.
“I was letting you know all these things but now I’m letting you know what Jesus has done for me. And in that, I’m no longer a slave. I’ m a son now. A son of God. I’m free.”
During the interview, West said that the most space he had to think was when he went to the hospital. West didn’t directly state it, but it seems as if he was referring to when he was admitted to Los Angeles’ Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and placed under observation after suffering from sleep exhaustion and sleep deprivation in 2016.
“As I started reading the Bible and I started writing out and copying Bible verses. A person came to my house that wasn’t a Christian and told me to come over and then thirty minutes later I was in handcuffs going to the hospital,” West explained.
“Now, this person very well may have saved my life because when you’re in an episode you can jump off the side of a balcony. You can stab your eye out. You can do a lot of things when you’re ramped up like that. But one of the things that people do now is they try to discriminate against my mind and my thoughts because of that moment.”
