Fresh off the heels of the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, H.E.R. has released a new single called “Sometimes.” The R&B singer performed the new song during “Music’s Biggest Night” on Sunday (Jan. 26) at the 2020 Grammys.

The inspirational song is an anthem for anyone going through tough times. “Sometimes [expletive] don’t go your way / And sometimes you gon’ have those days / And sometimes you’ll feel out of place / You can’t promise me it’ll be the same / ‘Cause sometimes change,” she sings on the track.

H.E.R. was nominated for five awards at the Grammys. However, she didn’t go home with any awards. In 2019, she won two Grammys for Best R&B Album (H.E.R.) and Best R&B Performance (“Best Part”).

“Sometimes” is the follow up to the remix to “Slide” with Pop Smoke, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Chris Brown, which was released earlier in January. Listen to “Sometimes” below.
