According to TMZ, Jay-Z claims that he and Beyonce did not plan to stay seated during the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.  In this video that was filmed at Columbia University, Jay-Z goes into detail about how he and Beyonce were watching Demi Lovato’s performance from an artist’s perspective and didn’t deliberately sit in protest.  He also shares a funny story about how if it had been intentional, how Blue Ivy would have reacted.
