Say goodbye to one of the Red Sox best and most well liked players: Mookie Betts. In a blockbuster trade that went down last night, the Sox traded both Betts and Price to the Dodgers for a package that includes outfielder Alex Verdugo.  The deal is pending medical reviews.

The deal was all about money, let’s be honest.  Betts was looking for a max contract and he will probably get it. But the Sox clearly were not willing to give him the deal he was looking for.
