SYDNEY, NSW - JANUARY 31: Poledancing students Danielle Grimmond (C) and Charlotte Priestley (L) practice moves on dance poles as Polestars Australia instructor Stephanie Kite (R) looks on during a poledancing lesson January 31, 2006 in Sydney, Australia. Poledancing is becoming a popular way for women to get fit, and numbers of women taking classes has exploded over the last couple of years. The classes provide women the opportunity to develop their upper-body strength and add sparkle to their sex life, while enjoying a female-only atmosphere which they find less regimented than traditional gym sessions. Well it’s certainly a bitter sweet ending for miss Genea Sky. By now you’ve seen that viral video of her falling out of her stripper routine at a performance at the XTC Cabaret in Dallas.

Genea Sky was dancing on the main stage of XTC Cabaret in Dallas and she says after the fall, she has to have surgery for a fractured jaw plus she sprained her ankle and broke some teeth. Well now a rep for the club is saying they’re willing to help her but since she’s not a full time worker there, she can’t get worker’s comp AND they said dancers choose their own routines and as a company, they exercise no control over a dancer’s art form, so if they fall — it’s on them.  Genea has started a Gofundme to help raise money for her medical bills. Her goal was 20K and as of right now it’s at almost 30K.
