More People Die Taking Selfies Than in Shark Attacks

Be careful taking that selfie…it could be life threatening! According to the NY Post “A new survey found that 41 percent of us have already risked our safety in pursuit of a selfie, while more than half of us would stand on the edge of a cliff for that ideal photo.”
The poll was taken by the custom phone case company Case24.com and questioned 2,023 people — 999 women and 1,024 men. It found that men are more willing to take risks with 61 percent of males accepting the challenge of a cliff-edge photo, compared to 38 percent of females. There have been 259 deaths by selfies in the past 7 years compared to only 50 death by shark attacks, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but they are on the rise…and fast!
BE CAREFUL TAKING THAT SELFIE…IT COULD BE A MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH!
