“Grey’s Anatomy” Says Goodbye To Alex Karev Tonight (VIDEO)
I don’t think one box of tissues is going to be enough for tonight’s episode of “Grey’s Anatomy!”
I remember last month when the news dropped and Alex Karev was trending on Twitter, as a day-one “Grey’s Anatomy” fan, I was VERY upset! His character has grown so much over the past 16 seasons and became one of my favorites!
Justin Chambers, who plays Alex Karev, told Deadline, “There’s no good time to say goodbye to a show and character that’s defined so much of my life for the past 15 years. For some time now, however, I have hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices. And, as I turn 50 and am blessed with my remarkable, supportive wife and five wonderful children, now is that time.”
In last week’s episode of “Grey’s,” we found out that Alex never went to see his mom in Iowa. I still didn’t see it coming when they teased Alex’s episode at the end of last week’s show.
At least they’re giving Alex a farewell episode tonight! I’m sure it’s going to be emotional, so I’ll have extra tissues ready. Goodbye Alex. You will be missed!
