Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, has been sharing her renditions of iconic scenes from cult favorite films during the COVID-19 pandemic on Instagram.

However, on Wednesday (Apr. 8) Reginae switched it up a bit and impersonated her father, Lil Wayne from an old 2012 deposition interview that gossip site TMZ shared.

In the clip that went viral, Lil Wayne was being interviewed by Pete Ross, Quincy Jones III’s lawyer. Weezy was being interrogated about his criminal record by Ross. Weezy was suing Jones over a documentary film about himself while recording Tha Carter III, which the rapper felt was a “scandalous portrayal.”

In Reginae’s impersonation video, she’s dressed like her father in a gray hoodie and lipsyncs to the audio from Lil Wayne’s interview. Reginae nails it, as many people commented underneath the post that the young actress is the “same person” as Weezy. Check out Reginae’s perfect impersonation below.
