Believe it or not, SNOW is Coming!
Buckle up MA! We are in for some snow tonight. Depending on where you live you could get just rain or several inches of snow. Thanks to WBZ for the info: A Winter Weather Advisory has been put in effect for all of Massachusetts with the exception of the southeastern parts of the state. It begins at 7 p.m Friday in western Mass., towards the Berkshires. From Worcester County and counties east, the advisory begins at 11 p.m. and lasts through noon Saturday.
Who gets rain, who gets snow
Looks like mainly rain over southeastern Mass. including most of Plymouth County, Cape Cod and the Islands.
From Boston to Providence and areas near and along the Mass Pike there will likely be a mix of rain and wet snow and some wet snow accumulation here and there on grass.
Areas north of the Pike, northwest of I-95 and particularly northwest of I-495 have the best chance of seeing mainly snow.
A coating to 2 inches are possible in the eastern part of the state with 2-5 inches possible central to western MA.
