On Tuesday (Apr. 21), French Montana took to Instagram to share that he wants to battle Kendrick Lamar. “If we just talking about anthems, me vs. Kendrick hit for hit!” Montana tweeted.
“I believe I can go neck to neck! I been making hits for a long time. It ain’t my fault I believe in myself.”
“How was I supposed to answer that question?” Montana asked his fans. “How many times I gotta prove myself before I get mine.”
“I love Kendrick! That’s not just for Kendrick that to anybody they put in front of me, and ask me that same question,” French Montana continued. “What u want me to say lol? ”
“It should be your attitude too. If u think any less of yourself don’t blame it on the next person who don’t! ” Montana went on. “Set it up.”
Complex shared a graphic on Instagram that juxtaposed Montana’s hits next to Lamar’s, and according to the graphic Lamar has more with eight Top 10 hits and 48 Hot 100 entries against Montana’s two Top 10 hits and 17 Hot 100 entries.
