This was the BEST Verzuz yet! Beenie Man and Bounty Killer did their IG Live battle from Jamaica on the same stage with their DJs set up side by side.
The energy was amazing! Beenie Man’s “Do you wanna be that guy?!” response to the cop was hilarious! So were the instant GIFs and memes that Beenie Man declared the winner of the battle and reposted some of his favorites on Instagram.

This was a hard act to follow for sure. Last night 112 and Jagged Edge tried, but the sound was TERRIBLE! I think we can crown their IG Live battle the WORST for sound issues. Jagged Edge’s songs were very low in volume and then there were static noise issues throughout the battle. It’s too bad, because both groups played a lot of GREAT songs! We just couldn’t hear them very well.
Timbaland and Swizz Beatz discussed this in the after show and said from now on, any future competitors will be REQUIRED to use the sound kit that they send out to the battling artists. We’ll see if that happens and helps!
