Three weeks ago, Jennie Stejna was the first person to test positive for coronavirus in her nursing home, the Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Her condition worsened quickly and the fact that she is 103 years old, chances of her surviving were not great. When family members asked her if she was ready to go to heaven, she replied “Hell yes.” But her feisty spirit and positive soul proved to the world that she wasn’t ready and 103 year old Jennie Stejna fully recovered and kicked Covid’s ass. And what’s the first thing she asked for? And ice cold Bud Light which she loves and hadn’t had in a very long time. Jennie’s granddaughter says she was the first person from that facility to recover from the virus and for that their family is truly grateful.
