Kanye West is expanding the Yeezy brand and taking it in a new direction.

Per Bloomberg, the Yeezy fashion label is coming to Gap. They state, “The rapper and designer is teaming with Gap Inc. on a new line of apparel for men, women and kids called Yeezy Gap. Products are expected to debut in stores and online next year.”

This venture will be a multiyear partnership, and the line is still in the design phases. Kanye West’s deals with Gap will not include footwear as he is still collaborating on that with Adidas.

As Bloomberg explains, “The arrangement will expose West’s upscale brand to a broader market while letting Gap capitalize on Yeezy’s recent growth.” The global head of the Gap brand, Mark Breitbard, echoed this sentiment in a statement, saying that, “The new line would build on the aesthetic and success of the Yeezy brand.”
