Now this is a true love story. Betty and Curtis Tarpley were together most of their lives. They went to the same high school in Illinois but actually met in California. They got married and had two kids. On June 18, after 53 years as a married couple, the two died from coronavirus within an hour of each other in a Texas hospital, spending their last moments together holding hands, their son told CNN.

Their son Tim told the story of how his mom was admitted on June 9th and his dad admitted two days later. It seemed like they were doing well, but both declined and Betty decided she was "was ready to go."
