With lyrics like “touching me, touching you” you may be able to understand why an Irish Pub has banned the song "Sweet Caroline." Murphy's Irish Bar in Corralejo, Spain has banned the song because too many people get close and touchy feely when they sing it and when alcohol is involved. And since the virus is spread by tiny particles of moisture capable of hanging in the air in enclosed or unventilated spaces, they figure it would be a good idea. According to The Irish Post: "There is a school of thought that says that singing not only also expels droplets and aerosols from the mouth and nose, but also expels a greater quantity of droplets, due to the volume of the human voice tending to be louder when singing."
Now, this may be a joke but it's still pretty damn funny regardless.
