2 Chainz recently took to social media to reveal who he chooses for Brandy and Monica’s Verzuz battle that’s slated for Monday night (Aug. 31).
The “It’s a Vibe” rapper shared that his choice was Monica due to where she’s from (Atlanta).
“I’mma come clean. Somebody just asked me who I got for the Verzuz battle. Shout out to Swizz and Timb. Monica v. Brandy,” 2 Chainz said in a recent video. “Monica. She from the south side what you talking about?”
The two veteran R&B singers go up against each other for their Verzuz celebration on Monday at 8 p.m. EST.

The two “Boy Is Mine” artists have both been sharing old interviews on social media to promote the highly-lauded battle.
