We are finally getting some new music from OutKast – kind of. Per Rolling Stone, the group will mark the 20th anniversary of  Stankonia with a vinyl reissue and an expanded digital album. The expanded digital album will come packed with rare and unreleased remixes.

They state, “Digital bundles centered around ‘So Fresh, So Clean,’ ‘B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad),’ and ‘Ms. Jackson’ will be released on streaming services. All three bundles boasts the radio mix, instrumental and a cappella of each track, along with additional bonus cuts.”

Among other things, the “B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)”  will consist of a remix by Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha. The “So Fresh, So Clean” bundle includes a Fatboy Slim remix, and the “Ms. Jackson” will have a track called “Sole Sunday” that Goodie Mob did with the group.

Vinyl Me Please will also have a 20th-anniversary edition vinyl of Stankonia available next month. The website says, “The 20th Anniversary edition of OutKast’s landmark 2000 album, it is the Essentials Record of the Month for October 2020. It’s on exclusive black and white galaxy vinyl.” The record is only available for club members.

The digital bundle will be released on October 30.
