Things seem to be getting worse again with the coronavirus so going to concerts seems so far away but at some point, we WILL be going to live performances again. And to prepare, Ticketmaster is working on a safety plan to welcome fans back. One thing they’re working on, syncing with third party healthcare providers to link COVID vaccine status and/or test results to fans’ digital tickets for event entry. So ultimately you’ll have to provide a negative Covid test to get in. And for all those people worried about anyone having access to their medical records, don’t worry…Ticketmaster says data sent to them will be done so in a secure, encrypted way. They would NOT have access to concertgoers’ medical records. Welcome to the new normal.
