Remember J Lo’s movie Hustlers about a group of strippers who’d recruit rich victims then give them drugs in order to steal their money and credit card information among other things? The movie was based on a true story of a woman named Samantha Barbash who had sued J Lo’s production company for $20 million because the movie did not use her “name, portrait, picture, or voice” in its marketing AND for defamation. That suit was dismissed in its entirety yesterday so Barbash gets nothing. Oh and btw Hustlers made $157.6 million worldwide.
