The Grammys are just wrong…on so many levels. After giving The Weeknd ZERO nominations despite having the biggest album and single of 2020, now they’re lowballing entertainers when it comes to the actual ceremony. Tiffany Haddish says the Grammys asked her to host their 3 hour pre telecast event but said no because not only would there be no pay, she would also be responsible for her own hair, makeup and wardrobe.  Tiffany said she felt disrespected and that “It’s like a guy asking you on a date but telling you that you have to pay for it.” The Grammy Academy’s interim chief Harvey Mason Jr. posted on IG that he reached out to Tiffany and apologized saying, it wasn’t right.

Tiffany Haddish is actually nominated for  Best Comedy Album for Netflix’s “Black Mitzvah” and she even joked saying this whole thing will probably keep her from winning. The Grammys take place on January 31.
