Aaliyah’s Estate Teases The Launch of the Singer’s Official YouTube Channel in 2021

It looks like Aaliyah's music is finally coming to YouTube in 2021. On Christmas Day, Aaliyah’s verified Instagram account announced that her estate has finally gained control over the late singer’s official YouTube channel. "Thank you for all of your love and support. We are proud to announce that the Estate is now in control of the 'Aaliyah' YouTube account," read the message.

The YouTube channel, "AaliyahMusicVideo", currently has almost 800k subscribers. It features low quality versions of some of her songs, including "One in a Million" and "4 Page Letter".  It is unclear what they plan to do with it, but the Instagram post did tease 2021 plans for the account, stating “2021 will be the year of Aaliyah.” Read the full message below.
