ARVADA, CO – APRIL 02: Damien DeNeir (R) helps his grandmother, Kim DeNeir (L) carry dresser to a moving van as they move out of their apartment April 2, 2008 in Arvada, Colorado. The DeNeirs are being forced to move from the rental apartment where they have lived for 20 years, as it was recently condemned by the city for sewer and rodent problems. The owners of the complex are blaming the sub-prime mortgage meltdown for the reduction in maintenance that led to the property being condemned. The Denver metropolitan area has been hard-hit by the housing downturn, with officials estimating that as many as 11,000 properties might go into foreclosure this year. People are moving out of MA more than ever. According to a study from United Van Lines: MA is No. 8 on the “Most Moved From States In 2020” list.  An astounding 57% of moves for the company were out of state.  Topping the list: New Jersey followed by New York, Illinois, Connecticut and California.

The northeast is taking a hit here with many citing the pandemic as the reason for their moving.
