We all know Drake is a BIG NBA groupie. He’s a Toronto Raptors fan but he just loves the NBA in general and is good friends with a lot of players. So it shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone that he was once fined by an NBA team for making its players late. Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr told a story recently about how the team was on the plane waiting for takeoff and realized two of his star players weren’t there yet: Steph Curry and Draymond Green. So after calling Steph to ask where the hell he was…Steph responded “Oh my fault. I’m with Drake and Draymond and were at the arena still.”  Apparently they had a rule that players could bring a friend on the plane a couple times a year and Drake was that friend. There was also a rule that if you’re late, you gotta pay a $500 fine. So, according to Kerr “Drake got on the plane that night with Draymond and Steph and I fined all three of them for being late. Drake paid his $500 fine.”
