Today’s PSA, if you think you’re dating Bruno Mars and he asks you for money, don’t give it to him. A Texas woman is learning that the hard way she’s claiming she was scammed out of $100k. The 63 year old says she was approached by Bruno Mars on IG and developed an online relationship with him and then later was asked for cash. She says she cut two cashiers checks made out to “Chi Autos” and put them in the mail, one for $10k, and another $90k to cover tour expenses. Police say the money found its way in the account of two local men who were booked on money laundering charges.  Police say the men are working for scammers overseas and are a part of a larger crime ring.
