Lulu is an 8-year-old border collie from Tennessee whose owner passed away last year. 84-year-old Bill Dorris named Lulu in his will. Martha Burton, Lulu's longtime caretaker, says that Dorris frequently traveled for work and always wanted his dog to be taken care of when he was gone. So Dorris instructed for $5 million to be put into a trust specifically for Lulu's care. The will also says Burton is to be reimbursed for monthly expenses.
"I don't really know what to think about it, to tell you the truth," Burton said.
While she said it's hard to imagine spending the entire $5 million, Burton told WTVF, "I'd like to try."
