Kim Janey made history today as the first person of color and first woman to be sworn in as Mayor of Boston.  She is the 55th Mayor of the City of Boston.

During her speech at her swearing-in ceremony, Mayor Kim Janey said, "I will work each day so that all residents have opportunities to learn, earn and thrive."
