The day Boston sports fans have been waiting for is finally here. Tonight, the TD Garden opens its doors to fans for the first time since the start of the pandemic last year. The Bruins host the New York Islanders at 7 p.m., and it will be the first game played in front of fans since Massachusetts began allowing stadiums to reopen this week. The Garden will only be 12% full due to state rules which will equal about 2200 people. There will be no bags allowed and people will be sitting in pods.  "We're thrilled to have them back. We're excited. I know the players are excited, I know the fans can't wait to come back and, you guys, this neighborhood, right? We really need to get some energy back on Causeway Street for the restaurants, for the businesses here," said Amy Latimer, President of TD Garden.
