Ordering pizza on Friday nights might get a whole lot cooler.

Dominos announced recently that they are partnering up with an autonomous vehicle company to offer customers a contact-free delivery. However, this contact-free delivery will be via robot.

According to upi.com, the robot car will carry pizzas to customer’s homes. The patrons will then receive text messages with updates on the delivery status and a PIN to put into the robot’s touchscreen to receive the orders.

Senior VP of Dominos Dennis Maloney stated,

“This program will allow us to better understand how customers respond to the deliveries, how they interact with the robot and how it affects store operations.”
